I am taking on a personal challenge. It's a challenge of physical endurance -- a challenge of making a difference in my community. I will be training for and participating in the 2009 Twin Cities Marathon to raise money for the Arthritis Foundation. I was diagnosed with arthritis in my right knee after arthrscopic surgery in March of 2008. It meant I could no longer run, as I had dreamed. However, I will attempt the marathon and will succeed walking and running it. Please send in some money to help me to eradicate the disease of arthritis forever. Thank you,
